New Year, New Books!

Hey guys,

This will be just a brief update post.

I’m so excited to start a new year and with it, my goals for the year.

I haven’t been as interested in posting book reviews anymore, but I will of course keep reading. Who knows. I won’t rule it out, meaning if I find a book thought-provoking I may post about it. But, I’m really enjoying just sharing my thoughts on here.

Anyways, in 2016 I hope to read 52 books again (which I actually completed this year for the first time!) and hopefully more. I want to read more British books (good thing I just found out my professor for Literature at university focuses on British Literature!) and try to post more on here since I fell out of the habit after a while last year.

I hope to create more art, especially from books since I have so many that are so beautiful (but I may not enjoy reading much…) that I want to create into even more beautiful art!

Well, that’s about all for now!

I hope to talk to you soon!

First Post

Hello!

I am Spectacles. This is my first post on WordPress. I don’t exactly know how this all works, but bear with me as I get used to this website. This is my first blog.

I plan to write and display various book reviews as I aim to read 100 books (starting with 50, but we’ll see how that goes…) throughout this year. I have been an avid reader in past, however for the last six months or so, I’ve been having trouble continuing reading or finishing a book. I’ve read books from science fiction to fantasy to romance to classics. This post will be the only one until I finish a book and can post my first review.

Thoughtfully,

Spectacles
